MAGneat gDNA Extraction Kit

Figure 2: Highly pure genomic DNA extracted from fresh saliva with MAGneat gDNA Extraction Kit. Genomic DNA was extracted with MAGneat gDNA Extraction Kit from human fresh saliva samples obtained from five different donors. Analysis was carried out using the NP80 Touch Nanophotometer (Implen – Germany) to determine DNA concentration, A260/A280 & A260/230 ratios.

Figure 3: DNA Yield Comparison of Fresh and Frozen Whole Blood Samples obtained in Sodium Citrate, EDTA & Sodium Heparin collection tubes. Whole blood samples were collected from 3 different donors in 3 collection tubes: sodium citrate, EDTA and sodium heparin. DNA extraction was performed in triplicates with MAGneat gDNA Extraction Kit and DNA concentration was measured using the Qubit 4 Fluorometer (ThermoFisher – USA).

Figure 4: High-molecular weight genomic DNA from both Gram-Positive and Gram-Negative bacteria extracted with MAGneat gDNA extraction kit. Bacterial genomic DNA was extracted from Staphylococcus aureus, Acinetobacter baumannii, Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa using MAGneat gDNA extraction kit. 5 µL of the eluted DNA was loaded to 1% agarose gel for DNA analysis. M = 1 kb DNA ladder.

Figure 5: DNA yield comparison from a range of bacteria species extracted using the MAGneat gDNA Extraction Kit and a comparator N. DNA from 50 mg (wet weight) of both gram-positive bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus) and gram-negative bacteria (Acinetobacter baumannii, Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa) cells was extracted with MAGneat gDNA extraction kit and a comparator. DNA concentration was measured using the Qubit 4 Fluorometer from ThermoFisher.
