Microzone’s BetterBase was released not too long after ABI released BigDye™ V1.1 & v3.1 for Sanger Sequencing.
BetterBase is a novel enhancing buffer specially designed and tested for use with the ABI BigDye™ (Versions 1.1 & 3.1). It is compatible with all Sanger Sequencing systems (eg: the ABI, MegaBACE and Beckman Sanger sequencing systems). The buffer can provide greatly improved results with difficult templates.
It’s easy to use:
- Dilute the BigDye in BetterBase at 1 in 6, 1 in 12, 1 in 15 or higher.
- The choice of dilution is dependent on size, quantity and quality of the DNA template.
- As always, we are happy to assist where needed.
